Estimate requests

When you request an estimate, you provide your name, phone number or email address, neighborhood, and any lighting interests or notes you choose to include. Some forms also ask how you heard about us. Please leave out information that is not needed to discuss your lighting project.

Glow Bug uses these details to respond, discuss the project and arrange an estimate. The form sends the request to Glow Bug’s inbox through an email delivery service. Hosting, security and email providers process information as part of operating this service. Submitting an estimate request is not a purchase or a subscription to an advertising mailing list.

Website security and other services

The estimate form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help prevent automated submissions. Turnstile and our hosting provider process technical information, such as network and browser information, to provide and protect the website. Cloudflare’s privacy policy explains its handling of personal information.

Fonts are served directly by this website. When you choose to play an embedded video, Vimeo receives the requests needed to display it. Links to app stores, social networks and other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices.

Optional advertising measurement

When optional Google Ads measurement is available, it runs only after you choose “Allow measurement.” You can reject it and still use the estimate form. Use “Privacy choices” in the footer to change your choice. We save that choice in this browser for up to 180 days.

If you allow measurement, Google Ads may use advertising cookies and receive a limited page address, advertising click identifiers, technical browser information and a unique request reference when our email provider accepts an estimate request. Our conversion event does not include your name, phone number, email address or project notes. Ad personalization and enhanced conversions using contact details are disabled. With your permission, we also keep advertising click identifiers and campaign labels in this tab’s session storage and include them in the estimate email to help identify the source of an inquiry. They are not saved by this measurement feature before permission. Rejecting or withdrawing permission stops our estimate conversion events and clears this site’s stored campaign information and Google advertising cookies where browser access allows. It does not retract information already sent to Google. Browser restrictions or blockers may prevent measurement; a recorded request is not a verified sale.
